Kempinski has announced the launch of Kempinski Residences The Creek, a new waterfront development in Al Jaddaf, Dubai. The project includes 285 branded apartments across two buildings, correcting earlier reports of 279 units. Set along Dubai Creek, the residences are designed with a focus on wellness, featuring landscaped gardens, shaded pavilions, and sports facilities. The development reflects Dubai's push for healthier urban living, in line with the city's Economic Agenda D33, which aims to create sustainable, high-quality environments to attract international talent and investment.
The project is a partnership between Swiss Property and Kempinski Hotels, with Kempinski as the brand operator. Residents will have access to the company's hospitality services. The apartments range from one-bedroom units to four-bedroom duplexes. Amenities include courts for padel, beach volleyball, and basketball, a gym, yoga studio, spa, and a 24-hour restaurant. These features are part of Dubai's broader effort to raise standards in luxury wellness living, as noted in recent Emirates News Agency updates.
Barbara Muckermann, CEO of Kempinski Hotels, describes the project as an example of the brand's approach to combining nature, daily life, and service. Swiss Property CEO Kareem Adi highlights the focus on community and healthy living, saying that the real value of the project is in how it shapes residents' lives and sense of belonging. Communal areas and direct access to landscaped outdoor spaces are intended to encourage an active, connected community, in line with Dubai's urban wellness goals.
The location sits between the city and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, offering views of Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek Harbour, and the wetlands. This setting supports Dubai's aim to balance urban growth with environmental responsibility, as outlined by the Dubai Media Office in recent sustainability briefings.
The launch comes as demand for branded residences in Dubai continues to grow, with international hospitality groups playing a larger role in the city's high-end residential market. According to The National's property market analysis, Dubai is attracting more foreign investment, and luxury real estate is a key part of the emirate's economic diversification. The city's regulatory framework, overseen by the Dubai Land Department and the Central Bank of the UAE, is designed to protect investors and ensure transparent transactions, which has helped build market confidence.
Kempinski's plans in Dubai go beyond The Creek. The group has announced Kempinski Marina Residences, set for completion in 2029 in Dubai Marina, which will feature vertical gardens and high-end interiors. This is part of Kempinski's global strategy, with branded residences in cities such as Bahrain, Mecca, Istanbul, Miami, and Bangkok. Each project is adapted to its location but shares a focus on luxury and personal service.
Kempinski currently manages 75 hotels and residences in 33 countries, with more than 25 additional projects in development. Its Dubai projects are positioned to meet the city's ongoing demand for high-end, service-oriented living, as noted in recent Dubai Media Office releases.
Kempinski Residences The Creek adds to Dubai's evolving luxury property market. By combining natural surroundings, ambitious architecture, and a hospitality-led approach, the project aims to set a new standard for branded living in the city.
