H&H has kicked off the main construction phase for its flagship commercial tower in Dubai International Financial Centre. The 37-storey project will bring over 60,000 square metres of Grade A office space by Q2 2028.

Heavy machinery rolled onto one of the last big plots in Dubai International Financial Centre this week. H&H has started the main build for its new commercial tower. The final building permits are in. Dubai Contracting Company is now on site as the main contractor. The Dubai Land Department confirmed the project has moved out of prep work. Concrete for the 37-storey tower's raft foundation is being poured. Handover is set for the second quarter of 2028.

Site prep and piling are done. Now comes the crucial step: laying the concrete raft. This sets the stage for the tower to rise. The finished building will offer more than 60,000 square metres of Grade A office space. It sits inside a mixed-use complex. Three floors will have fully furnished offices. These are aimed at businesses that want ready-to-use, high-spec workspaces in Dubai's financial hub. The project fits with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. That plan calls for more top-tier commercial buildings and aims to draw global companies to the city.

Aldar owns the tower. H&H is leading the development. The building is set to become a new landmark in the DIFC skyline. H&H CEO Miltos Bosinis pointed to "strong partnerships" and a shared vision with Aldar. Both firms want to deliver projects that back Dubai's long-term growth. The project's timeline and progress are listed in the official Dubai Land Department Project Status Enquiry. This public tool lets anyone check registration and construction updates through the DLD portal. That adds a layer of transparency.

Dubai's commercial property market keeps pulling in big investors. Demand for Grade A office space is strong. Global firms want a base in the city's financial core. Recent reports show more companies are moving or expanding in DIFC. They are drawn by the area's business setup and rules. The Dubai Financial Services Authority and the Central Bank of the UAE both say strong regulations help bring in foreign investment and grow the financial sector.

For tenants and investors, this project stands out. The timeline is clear. Construction is confirmed. That's rare in a market full of speculative launches. H&H and Aldar are both established names. The main contract is signed. All regulatory approvals are in place. That means a high chance the project will finish on time. As the tower rises, it will change the DIFC skyline. It will also help Dubai keep its edge as a global business hub. The size and ambition of this build show how the city is still changing fast. Strategic, well-run projects like this are in high demand in Dubai's top districts. The National reports that a shortage of prime office space in DIFC is pushing up demand. Projects like this are now key to Dubai's economic strength.
