Emirates NBD has introduced a digital financing solution for Cars 24 Arabia, giving car dealers and business partners direct, API-driven access to credit as the company expands in the UAE.

Car dealers in the UAE will soon have a new way to access business finance. Emirates NBD has launched a fully digital, API-integrated lending system for Cars 24 Arabia, aiming to remove manual steps and offer instant credit to eligible partners. This move supports the UAE government's push to digitise financial services and encourage innovation, in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets doubling Dubai's economy over the next decade (Dubai Media Office).

The new system is designed to meet the growing need for faster, more flexible, and transparent automotive trade finance. By connecting Emirates NBD's automated lending directly to the Cars 24 Arabia platform, the bank says it can reduce loan processing from days to seconds. Dealers and business partners can now secure, use, repay, and renew credit lines without leaving the Cars 24 Arabia site. Emirates NBD describes this as a short-term revolving financing arrangement to support Cars 24 Arabia's UAE expansion, as reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM).

API integration delivers real-time funding

The partnership relies on a direct API connection. Instead of waiting for traditional bank approvals, eligible companies can now create loans, draw funds, and make repayments instantly. Credit limits update as soon as repayments are made, keeping working capital available for the next transaction. For many in the UAE's automotive sector, this level of automation is new, replacing older, slower processes. The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has repeatedly called for more digital innovation in banking to strengthen the sector, a point reflected in recent regulations.

Hamad Mohammed Zayed, Group Head of Business Banking at Emirates NBD, said these financing options show confidence in Cars 24 Arabia's growth and the bank's focus on digital finance solutions for clients. The partnership aims to cut processing time from days to seconds, with credit limits updating automatically after repayments, according to Fintech Gate.

Cars 24 Arabia eyes rapid UAE growth

For Cars 24 Arabia, the new financing setup is a tool for expansion. The company's business model now includes financing alongside used-car sales, similar to its approach in India, where annualised lending volumes have reached about Rs 5,000 crore, according to Indian Television Dot Com. In the UAE, Cars 24 Arabia remains active, with current listings and hiring pointing to ongoing retail and refurbishment work, supporting the expansion described in the bank partnership.

The digital-first model allows Cars 24 Arabia and its partners to keep liquidity, manage working capital, and scale up faster than before. The bank's system handles everything from loan origination to repayment automatically for qualified dealers. This fits with the UAE's broader economic reforms and the government's goal to make Dubai a global center for digital finance and smart services.

Digital banking reshapes UAE auto finance

This development is part of a larger shift in Dubai's business environment, where automation and digital tools are changing how companies access capital. As Reuters has reported, the UAE's financial sector is growing, helped by new regulations and more foreign investment. Industries from construction to trade are adopting real-time, API-based solutions to streamline operations and support growth.

With this partnership, Emirates NBD is positioning itself as a leader in digital business banking, while Cars 24 Arabia gains an advantage in the UAE automotive market. In Dubai's current business climate, speed and integration are now expected in business finance. Companies that do not adapt may fall behind as digital-first competitors move ahead.
