ACICO's board has approved an initial review of offers for a Dubai property and a subscription to an associate company's capital increase. The financial impact of both moves remains undisclosed.

ACICO Industries reported first-half 2026 profit of 6.28 million dinars, down 21.05% from 7.95 million dinars a year earlier.

On 15 October, the board gave preliminary approval to sell a property in Dubai and asked executive management to review purchase offers. It also approved subscribing to a capital increase by an associate company.

The sale proposal was on the agenda for the board meeting, according to an Argaam report published on 14 October. Reuters reported the initial approval the following day. The board's decision starts a review of offers. No sale has been completed.

Financial effects await next steps

ACICO said the proposed property sale has no current financial impact. Executive management will assess the offers, and the company will disclose the effect after that review and final approval to complete the transaction.

The associate-company subscription will affect ACICO's financials after it is completed. The company said it will disclose the impact once the subscription period closes and the new shares are allocated to ACICO.

Dubai recorded more than 270,000 property transactions worth AED917 billion in 2025, according to Khaleej Times. The publication also reported that project value rose 52% to AED100 billion in the first half of 2026. More than 24,000 new properties entered the market during that period. Those figures offer market context, but ACICO has not linked its proposed sale to market conditions.
